Major Nechaev - officer for special tasks and private agent of the professor Sechenov. Can handle complicated situations, sometimes brutal. Nechaev devoted his entire life to the service, and in return he only received deep loneliness and numerous wounds, both physical and mental. Professor Sechenov is the only man who treats him with paternal affection, and agent Nechaev repays him with loyalty and respectfully. The special agent's past remains classified.

Nickname "P-3" - as plutonium, the third discovered element radioactive - was given to Major Nechaev after he ended up badly injured in Professor Sechenov's laboratory. Both hands broken to the elbows, completely fractured left leg and severe concussion. The professor personally reinforced the P-3 with metal prostheses and restored it brain activity. Unfortunately, the P-3 still suffered a fractional memory loss: he never fully recovered the memories of his past.
